Last night my sister in law asked me why I haven't been blogging. I didn't realize how long it's been since I have. (Over 30 days!)

I have been busy doing stuff. I have nothing to blog about, but please enjoy this picture of me and my pal riding scooters down the main street in our town :)

This was a pointless post, just an excuse to post this cute picture of Asher and Drifter.

short lived...

Well that was a short lived moment.

My job at _______ is now over.  That was a learning experience. My last post I said how much I loved it. Well that pretty much changed.

I'm not going into details, but just a note on a few things I learned:

• If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.  (This goes for me, and a reminder to others as well)
• That I never want to cashier again
• That fertilizer is the key to happy plants
• And I'd put something here, but it's not nice so I won't say anything at all :)

I'm now focusing my efforts working for Kids Email (shameless plug here)  www.kidsemail.org and I'm excited about this venture.

We've been busy, I'm behind on blogging - we've had school performances, dance performances, family visiting and working. One day I'll get caught up on the blogging business.

Kirk started planting potatoes today - so he's going to be a busy man.

I'll write more later.  Just wanted to let you know of my short lived experience and that I did indeed learn some valuable lessons.

busy lil bee...

It's been awhile since I blogged. And while I have a few minutes to spare, I thought I would :)

Many of you know I quit my long time job not too long ago. Well my idea of staying home and doing nothing didn't last very long. I found myself bored and wanting to nap all the time. I decided to find a PT job to get me out of the house. I got a job at Town and C ountry here close to town, being a cashier. I've been doing it for a few weeks, and it's been good for me. Enough to get me out of the house, and still enough time to try to stay on top of home things. Right after I got the T and C job my bro in law asked me to start working for him. So I accepted as it's something I can do from home, and something that I like to do. So in addition to my T and C job I'm working a little bit for Kids Email doing marketing, social media and PR stuff.

So between the two, my days are full and I've been working a lot. Any free time I get I'm trying to get caught up on house stuff, or I'm hanging out or helping at my friends new shop she opened here in town. It's a smoothie, coffee and tea shop - it's super cute and it's been fun to serve drinks and learn a new trade.

So I pretty much went from bored out of my mind, to being FULL of things to do to keep me busy. It's good for me, I thrive on being busy.

We are all doing good. Kids are doing good in school. Shylee has her big ol dance performance next weekend which she is looking forward too. She is also getting super tall and becoming more of a diva and drama queen everyday.  She loves her itouch and is connected to it any chance she can get.

Asher just had a school musical performance, which he told me beforehand that he pretty much just pretends he is singing the whole time. Awesome. He got a new video game from the Easter Bunny so his time the last few days has been devoted to his video gaming skills - which I'm sure will do nothing for him in life, but oh well - if he is happy I am happy.

What else...

We took in 2 stray dogs, we found a home for one of them - the other one I really like...And he likes me. I named him Drifter, he's kind of my new buddy. We don't need anymore dogs, but if he can prove to be a hunter I think we'll keep him around.

Kirklan has been starting to put in our yard!!!!!  We just bought a bunch of boulders and have had dirt delivered. Sprinkler parts are on their way and let's just say I am more than excited to get my yard put in. I've had enough fun with the dirt, it's getting old - so that will be a new refreshing thing here around this house!

Jade is getting fat. I think she need more exercise. She has a hard time jumping onto anything. She's just a fat ol lil happy dog I guess :)

Well I guess that's it for now. I have loads of laundry waiting for me....

Feelin Springy...

I am super anxious for nice weather! Yesterday the weather was super fab and it made me have that lovin spring feeling. I bought these cute little pots at the dollar store and planted them with some herbs for my kitchen...yay...I thought they were pretty cute, and for a buck and bringing in some springtime happiness - it's pretty much priceless :)


I also re-potted a bunch of our house plants. I have a whole bunch of starts of this plant below that I would love to share with any of you that like to have plants in your house. This is one of those plants that is really hard to kill, so even you lamesauce plant people might be able to keep them alive.
