Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies (mmmmmm)
I found this recipe on the back of a package and tweaked it a little bit. These cookies have turned out divine! They have gotten a huge rating from my family. I decided I would share my tweaked recipe with ya'll.
Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies
1/2 cup (1 stick butter softened)
3/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
1 egg
1/2 tea. vanilla
1-1/4 cup flour
1/2 tea. baking soda
1/4 tea salt
1 cup Milk Chocolate chips
*1/2 cup ground Oreos (optional)
Heat oven to 350
Beat butter, sugar and peanut butter in medium bowl until creamy. Add egg, and vanilla; beat well. Stir together flour, baking soda and salt; add to butter mixture, blending well. Stir in chocolate chips and ground oreos. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake 12 to 14 minutes. Cool 1 min on sheet and move to wire rack.
* The last time I made these I happened to have left over ground up oreos from another dessert. I added them to the cookies just to be dumb and they turned out divine. They are good both ways, but if you have some oreos laying around or just want to try it you should - oh man, freaking tasty!!!!
Let me know if any of you try it :)
